The most critical component in a plasma gun is the nozzle. The nozzle is the anode of the non-transfer plasma arc. The arc column with high temperature is ejected through the inner wall of the nozzle. The inner wall of the nozzle will bear the thermal load of 10%~20% of the electric power, and the thermal load on the anode spot is as high as 418.7kJ/cm3, so the nozzle is extremely Fragile. In order not to overheat and melt the nozzle, it needs to be made of red copper with high thermal conductivity, and it must be directly forced to cool with water flow.
