Troubleshooting routine failures and maintenance of arc spray guns

       (1) The front conduit is worn, the outlet is enlarged, and the two wires cannot be forced to cross at the designated focus, causing spark scattering and coarse particles. At this time, a new one should be replaced.



   (2) During the feeding process of the wire material, it is suddenly fast or slow or the steel slips, causing intermittent sparks or arc breaks. The reasons for this phenomenon are:

       ①The wire feeding adjustment fails, most of which are worn out potentiometers and should be replaced with new ones;

       ②The wire feeding roller is worn or the pressing force is not suitable, it should be replaced with a new one, and the pressing force of the wire feeding should be adjusted;

       ③If the rear guide tube is not properly installed or worn too much, the metal wire will slip out of the beating wheel, and the rear guide tube should be adjusted.

   (3) The reason for the coarse particles is:

       ①Air pressure is lower than 0.4MPa;

       ② The diameter of the air cap is enlarged and should be replaced with a new one (the standard outlet diameter is φ6mm);

       ③ If the current is too high, the metal splashes, and the current should be appropriately reduced.

   (4) Keep the spray gun clean, with good electrical conductivity and good insulation.

   (5) If there is any splashed metal agglomeration in the air cap, it must be removed.

   (6) Check the carbon brush of the motor once a week, if it is shorter than 8mm, it should be replaced with a new one.

   (7) Disassemble the gearbox for cleaning every three months, and add grease.
