    Compared with wire fire filling spraying, arc spraying has the following characteristics

    a. High thermal efficiency, flame spraying, most of the heat generated by the combustion flame is lost to the atmosphere and cooling system, and the utilization rate of thermal energy is only 5-15%. Arc spraying uses electricity directly into heat to melt metal, and the utilization rate of heat energy is as high as 60-70%.

    b. High productivity. For spraying the same metal wire, the spraying rate of arc spraying is generally more than three times that of flame spraying.

    c. The cost of spraying is low, and the price of fuel consumed by flame spraying is dozens of times the price of electricity. The construction cost of arc spraying is more than 30% lower than that of flame bite coating.

    d. The bonding strength of the coating is high, and the bonding strength of the coating is generally more than 50% higher than that of flame spraying.

    e. The pseudo-alloy coating can be easily prepared, and the pseudo-alloy coating can be prepared by arc spraying only by using two metal wires with different compositions, so as to obtain unique comprehensive properties. For example, the copper-steel pseudo-alloy coating has good wear resistance, wear reduction and thermal conductivity.

    a. Spray zinc and aluminum coatings on steel components for long-term protection of steel components.

    b. Arc spraying aluminum on steel parts can produce aluminized layer of micro-area to prevent high temperature oxidation. The working temperature is 120-870℃, and the short-term protection can reach 1150℃.

    c. Spray stainless steel or other wear-resistant metals on steel parts for wear-resistant protection.

    d. Spray carbon steel, chrome steel, bronze, babbitt and other materials on mechanical parts to repair worn or out-of-tolerance parts. Repair parts can extend the service life.

    e. Spray conductive coating on capacitors, shield coating on plastic products, etc.

    f. Arc spraying aluminum or zinc spraying is used to produce aluminum sprayed clad steel plates and for the protection of large quantities of parts.
