       Proper use and maintenance of your spray gun is an important part of a safe and smooth spraying operation.

    1) Inspection before ignition

   (1) Check whether the gas pressure does not meet the requirements, especially whether the acetylene pressure meets the requirements.

   (2) Check whether the powder is clean and dry, and whether there are any undesirable phenomena such as dampness and caking. Check whether the powder grade is consistent with the process requirements.

   (3) Check whether the spray gun and nozzle meet the process requirements. Check whether the connections of the spray gun and the pipeline are tight and firm, and whether the air path is unblocked.

   (4) Check whether the valves and knobs are flexible and reliable.

   (5) Turn on the oxygen, put the palm of the hand on the powder bucket seat, whether there is a suction feeling in the palm of the hand, and the person with the suction feeling is normal.

   (6) Turn on the acetylene, and press your finger on the acetylene joint. For the injection-suction spray gun, the acetylene joint should have a suction feeling.

    2) Ignition check

   (1) Check whether the flame outline is clear and normal, and whether the flame has abnormal phenomena such as horseshoe shape.

   (2) Whether the flame can not be adjusted normally or the phenomenon of firing. If there is such phenomenon, check whether there is air leakage or blockage.

    3) Precautions for giving powder

   (1) When starting to feed powder, the powder gas valve must be opened first, and then the powder valve must be opened, that is, the gas is supplied first, and then the powder is supplied;

   (2) When stopping, the powder valve must be closed first, and then the powder feeding gas valve must be closed, that is, "stop powder first, then stop gas";

   (3) When replacing powder and filling powder, close the powder valve first, and then close the air valve after blowing out the residual powder in the gun;

   (4) After the powder hopper is installed on the spray gun, the powder valve switch should not be pressed before ignition, so as not to block and affect the use.

    If the above four points are improperly operated, it is easy to cause the blockage of the powder passage. In severe cases, it may cause an accident. Careful attention must be paid to the operation.

    4) Precautions when using the spray gun

   (1) It is strictly forbidden to block the nozzle of the spray gun with hands or other objects when the oxygen valve and the acetylene valve are opened at the same time to prevent the oxygen from flowing backwards and entering the acetylene bottle.

   (2) All gas channels of the spray gun must not be contaminated with oil, so as to prevent the oxygen from burning and exploding when encountering oil.

   (3) It is not allowed to lay the burning spray gun on the ground or other objects at will.

   (4) The nozzle should not touch the hair, otherwise it will be easy to shoot or even "temper" during use.

   (5) The transmission part of the wire spray gun should always be lubricated, and some thin grease of molybdenum disulfide can be added.

    5) Storage of the spray gun

    After each use of the spray gun, it should be cleaned and wiped in time to keep the gas path and powder path clean and dry, and it is strictly forbidden to contact with oil to avoid the occurrence of combustion accidents. The connection ports must not be bumped. The spray gun should also be inspected, cleaned and replaced regularly to keep the gun in good performance.
