There are many types of spray guns on the market. When purchasing a spray gun, it is necessary to understand the technical characteristics of the spray gun, and choose an economical spray gun according to actual needs.

    1) The number and form of nozzles. A spray gun often has several nozzles with different apertures. The number and aperture of the nozzles are indicated in the product manual. If it is a multi-hole nozzle, the arrangement of the nozzles will also be indicated for our reference when purchasing.

    2) Gas pressure. Gas pressure refers to the pressure of oxygen and acetylene required by this spray gun, which is the basis for us to prepare gas, and its unit is "MPa". The gas pressure required by different spray guns is different. Generally speaking, the oxygen pressure is 0.3MPa~0.8MPa.

    3) Gas consumption. The size of the gas consumption marks the size of the flame power of the spray gun, and its unit is cubic meters per hour (m3/h). The oxygen consumption of the commonly used spray gun is 0.6m3/h~5m3/h, and the acetylene consumption is 0.5m3/h~4m3/h. The oxygen and acetylene consumption of some micro guns is only about 0.15m3/h.

    4) Powder feeding amount. The amount of powder feeding is an indicator of the working efficiency of the spray gun, that is, how many kilograms of powder can be sprayed per hour, and its unit is kilograms per hour (kg/h). Since the powder feeding amount of the same spray gun when spraying different types of powder is large or small, the powder feeding amount of iron-based powder is uniformly used as a measure. For miniature guns and small guns, the feeding amount of iron powder is 0.5kg/h~2kh/h, and medium and large guns can reach 4kg/h~12kg/h.
