When the preheating temperature of metal parts exceeds 200 ℃, a serious oxide film begins to appear on the surface of the parts, which significantly reduces the bonding strength of the coating. Therefore, preheating over 200°C is not advisable. When spraying some special materials, the workpiece should not be preheated. For example, when spraying tungsten carbide powder, in order to reduce the burning loss of carbon, the substrate should be kept at room temperature.
