Properties and Application Characteristics of Alumina Reinforced Medium Density Polyethylene Composites

       Using the plasma spraying process, by adding ceramic powder (such as Al2O3, SiO2, etc.) particles to the plastic, an alumina-reinforced medium density polyethylene composite coating can be obtained. This kind of coating greatly improves the wear resistance and scratch resistance, reduces the thermal expansion coefficient of the plastic coating, and improves the dimensional stability of the coating; it reduces the heating of the plastic powder, so that the thermal degradation and coking problems of the plastic powder are changed. The utilization rate of plasma enthalpy is improved, the powder feeding efficiency and deposition efficiency are increased, and the cost is reduced.



     The coating has excellent chemical corrosion resistance, wear resistance and abrasion resistance, and can be used for lining coatings of large chemical tanks, reaction kettles, etc.
