The general characteristics of recovery size coatings are;
(1) The coating will not increase the strength of the workpiece;,
(2) Strictly control the preheating and operating temperature of the substrate during spraying;
(3) Use adhesive coating as the bottom layer;
(4) Spray a layer of bonding bottom layer as soon as possible after preheating. Do not preheat too high before this, and do not expose to air for long periods of time. Otherwise, an oxide film will be formed on the surface of the substrate, which is not conducive to the metallurgical bond between the coating and the substrate.
