       This type of coating protects the substrate material from exposure to high temperature corrosive gases. This coating is not required to withstand mechanical shock or abrasion. Its general characteristics and application characteristics are:

     (1) Harsh conditions that may encounter periodic high temperature and local high temperature should be selected for harsh conditions and coatings.

     (2) The cyclic temperature change will affect the thermal fatigue resistance and thermal shock resistance of the coating. The larger the temperature change range and the faster the cooling rate, the greater the tendency of the coating to peel off;

     (3) The coating and base material should have similar thermal expansion coefficients;

     (4) Cavitation-resistant coatings are used in wear rings, turbine blades, turbine nozzles, diesel engine cylinder lining pumps, etc.

     (5) The cavitation-resistant coating materials can be nickel-based self-fluxing alloys, Ni-containing copper alloys, self-fluxing alloys plus Ni/AI mixed powder, ultra-fine AI2O3, pure Cr2O3 powder, etc.
