What are the characteristics and application characteristics of erosion-resistant coatings

       This coating is resistant to erosion by sharp and hard particles. These particles are transported by a gas or liquid and move at a certain speed. When the impact angle of the particles is less than 45 degrees, the particles fly along the surface and cause abrasive wear. At this time, the hardness of the coating is required to be higher; when the impact angle of the particles is greater than 45 degrees, the toughness of the coating is the main one. Its general characteristics and application characteristics are:

     (1) When the angle of particle impact is less than 45 degrees, the selected coating should be harder and more wear-resistant;

     (2) When the particle angle is greater than 45 degrees, the selected coating should be soft and firm;

     (3) In a high temperature environment, the coating should have high red hardness and be able to resist oxidation to the medium at a temperature of 538°C to 816°C;

     (4) When the liquid is the carrier, the wear and corrosion resistance of the selected coating must be considered.

     (5) The erosion-resistant coating is used in exhaust fans, water and electricity valves, cyclone dust collector cut-off valve stems and valve seats, etc.
