       The abrasive wear coating is resistant to the cutting and "scratching" action of foreign particles between the sliding surfaces, and the hardness of the coating should be greater than that of the foreign abrasive particles. For coatings used at high temperatures, the basic working temperature is 540 degrees Celsius to 845 degrees Celsius, and for coatings used at low temperatures, the working temperature is limited to below 540 degrees Celsius. The basic characteristics and application characteristics are as follows;

(1) The hardness of the coating surface should exceed the hardness of the abrasive particles present.

(2) The coating must have oxidation resistance at operating temperature.

(3) Debris is generated during wear. The hardest particles will correspond to the hardness of the surface. These particles are then oxidized and form ground oxides. These oxides and their hardness should be considered.

(4) The wear-resistant particle wear coating is applied to the piston rod of the mud pump (petroleum industry); the polishing rod bushing (petroleum industry); the connecting rod of the suction pipe; the screw conveyor of the concrete mixer; the grinding hammer (tobacco products); Mandrels, dry cell electrolyzers; grinding and polishing fixtures, corrugated sticks (paper industry), etc.
