According to the working conditions of different parts and different requirements for surface properties, coatings with various properties that meet the requirements of use can be prepared by reasonably selecting spraying materials and spraying process methods. Mainly include the following:

(1) Wear-resistant coating. The wear-resistant coating can be prepared by spraying materials in a wide range from low temperature (-20 degrees Celsius) to high temperature (above 800 degrees Celsius), which greatly improves the wear resistance of parts.

(2) Heat-resistant and high-temperature oxidation resistant coating. This type of coating can purposely improve the high temperature resistance of the surface of the part, and effectively resist the surface damage caused by chemical and physical action at high temperature. Such as thermal barrier coating, high temperature protective shielding coating.

(3) Corrosion-resistant coating. Both anodic protective coatings (stainless steel, nickel, chromium) and cathodic protective coatings (zinc, aluminum) can be prepared. Such coatings can act as protection and isolation.

(4) Conductive coating and insulating coating. In addition to the conductive and insulating functions, this type of coating also has a radiation shielding effect on electromagnetic waves and rays.

(5) Clearance control and sealing coating. When these coatings come into contact with mating components, they undergo controlled preferential wear to ensure optimum clearance and sealing.

(6) Restore size coating. These coatings are suitable for repairing undersized workpieces caused by wear, improper machining, incorrect casting, and defective casting. The coating has the same function as the workpiece base material.

(7) Special purpose coating. Decorative coatings, biological coatings (artificial joints), etc.
