       Thermal spraying technology has many characteristics, and various coatings prepared by thermal spraying technology have many unique advantages. The main points are as follows;

    (1) The range of materials that can be sprayed is particularly wide. It includes almost all solid-state engineering materials such as various metals and alloys, ceramics, cermets, intermetallic compounds, non-metallic minerals, plastics, etc., so it can prepare a variety of protective coatings and functional coatings, such as wear resistance, reduction Friction self-lubricating, wearable sealing, friction resistance, corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, high temperature resistance, thermal barrier, insulation, electrical conductivity, superconductivity, radiation, radiation protection, shielding, anti-interference, wavelength absorption, catalysis and biological functions layer.

    (2) Coatings can be formed on a variety of substrate materials. These materials include metals, ceramics, plastic substrates, plaster, wood and even cardboard. The range of substrate materials to be sprayed is very wide.

    (3) Yixiu is not limited by the size of the workpiece and the construction site. It can spray large and heavy workpieces, as well as small and thin-walled parts; it can be constructed in the factory or on-site.

    (4) High deposition efficiency, especially suitable for depositing thick film coatings. Compared with electroplating, electroless plating, ion plating, vapor deposition and other technologies, thermal spraying has a higher deposition rate, higher production efficiency, and the coating thickness can be controlled from tens of microns to several millimeters, or even thicker.

    (5) The thermal influence on the base material is small. Compared with thermal diffusion infiltration plating, vapor deposition, high temperature synthesis, sintering and other processes, except for spray welding, thermal spraying has little thermal effect on the substrate, and the heating temperature of the substrate generally does not exceed 200 degrees, so the substrate material will not be microstructured. Performance changes without deformation.

    (6) It is easier to adjust the coating composition. The coating composition and coating performance can be adjusted easily by adjusting the type, proportion and coating process of coating materials.

    (7) It is easy to locally strengthen or modify the product. It can be sprayed on the part of the product to achieve local surface strengthening and modification. It can also manufacture thin-walled parts without substrates, hollow parts and workpieces with complex shapes by demoulding.

    (8) Save valuable materials. Under the premise of meeting the strength requirements, the base material can be replaced by a more common material instead of the precious overall material, and only the surface coating uses the precious material.

    (9) Easy maintenance. Thermal spraying has flexible operation, relatively simple process and strong adaptability, and is widely used in the maintenance of various equipment and components. After the coating is damaged, it can be removed and re-sprayed to repair, and the base material can be fully utilized.
