Composition: Cobalt nickel chromium aluminum yttrium accounts for 80%, and the rest is a mixture of boron nitride and polyphenylene. Can be adjusted as needed.
Commonly used powder particle size: -176 +8 μm.
Production method: mechanical wrapping or mixing.
Powder morphology: nearly spherical.
Main application: As a wearable sealing coating, it is used in aero-engines and industrial gas turbine high-pressure compressors to control the gap between the compressor blades and the casing, minimize the wear of rotating parts, and improve the efficiency of the air path. The CoNiCrAlY (cobalt-nickel-chromium-aluminum-yttrium) composition in the coating improves oxidation and corrosion resistance. The boron nitride component provides solid lubrication, which improves wear resistance and reduces tip wear during blade-to-coating friction. The porosity of the coating can be 35 to 60 vol.%, and the porosity can be controlled by the content of polyphenylene ester. It is recommended that the coating be subjected to post-spray heat treatment to remove the polyester component to create pores in the coating, thereby improving wearability sex. The operating temperature can be as high as 750 ℃, and the oxidation of the coating will be enhanced if the coating is used for a long time in the environment above 650 ℃.
Spraying method: Plasma spraying is usually used.
Coating performance: The bonding strength of the bottom layer without spraying can reach 6MPa; the hardness of the coating is 60-80HR15Y, and the hardness of the coating can be adjusted to 30-70HR15Y after heat treatment; the surface roughness of the coating can reach 3-4µm after machining.
