Tungsten carbide bowl is suitable for grinding minerals with certain hardness, such as metals and non-metals (coal, coke, ores, rocks, granular materials). Mortar, grinding disc, etc., commonly known as grinders, are grinders that grind rough materials into fine powder. The concept of tungsten carbide bowl: also known as mortar, grinding disc, etc. It is an abrasive tool that grinds coarse material into fine powder.

There are many types of tungsten carbide bowls, such as ordinary steel, high manganese steel, wear-resistant alloy, chrome steel, tungsten carbide, ceramics, agate, etc.

The working principle of tungsten carbide bowl:

A grinder that grinds coarse materials into a fine powder. When working, if the material bowl is put into the shaping pulverizer or the vibration grinding groove, the machine will work in an eccentric vibration mode for 3-5 minutes to make the material reach 80-300 wood, which is directly used for testing. This is the way laboratories are now widely used to prepare samples of materials.

Tungsten carbide bowl material:

The material of the tungsten carbide bowl is more complicated, and its outer shell is made of ordinary 45-gauge steel, lined with tungsten carbide material, and loaded into the outer shell. Tungsten carbide has high hardness, and the hardness of polishing materials reaches a high level.

The tungsten carbide lined blank is sintered from cobalt powder and then ground into a finished product with a diamond grinding wheel. Unlike the carbide head material being machined, the material needs to have high hardness, wear resistance and high impact resistance to suit the working conditions.

Simple tungsten carbide powder cannot be formed, so cobalt is added to form a sinter. The higher the tungsten carbide content, the harder the material, but the lower the strength and the more brittle it becomes. So choose the right ratio. The material bowl has high hardness and good wear resistance, but it is not allowed to knock. Proper use method can improve the service time of the bowl, and the sample should be evenly distributed among the solid, circular ring and bowl wall during charging. The mass content of tungsten carbide is 85.5% WC and 14.5% CO. Longitude: 87.5 HRA; Density: 14.1g/cm3 Bending Strength: 2080Mpa

Precautions for using tungsten carbide bowl

To prevent wear and impact, avoid tungsten carbide idling in the shredder. The tungsten carbide bowl is covered with a steel sleeve, so it is not afraid of bumps. Use sealing strips to prevent powder from escaping. During the grinding process, the tungsten carbide bowl itself is slightly worn, and falling on the powder will not cause sample contamination. In order to avoid cross-contamination between samples, please pulverize one sample into tungsten carbide as much as possible, and use coarse materials to pulverize the volatilization of chromium steel or manganese steel materials, requiring the emission of carbides that are not contaminated with iron elements.

How to achieve the ideal crushing effect when the machine is in use? If the crushing time is too long, the viscosity of the sample and the temperature of the bowl will be greatly increased, and the time will not be too short to achieve fine crushing. In order to achieve a suitable crushing effect, the user can adjust the vibration of the crusher according to Frequency adjusts the crushing time. The source of contamination attached to the surface of the bowl cannot be ignored either. One or more waste samples should be produced as much as possible before the samples are formally crushed.
