       In the past, China's domestic cemented carbide molds were still in the initial stage. Generally, alloy gears with small and medium modules were processed by molds. However, because of the deformation and shrinkage during the processing of alloy gears, the accuracy change after shrinkage was the same as before. The research is not in-depth, which is one of the important reasons for restricting the development of alloy hard molds.





The mold is the most critical part of gear injection molding. Gears are relatively precise parts, and a small deviation may affect the performance of the entire gear. Carbide molds look simple, but they are actually the most complex. Factors such as gear modulus, helix angle, and hole position determination all affect the design of cemented carbide molds. The problem of precision and life is the top priority of the research on cemented carbide molds. In the past, the domestic work in this area was still very limited. When visiting some gear factories in recent years, it is beyond imagination to see problems with hard molds.

 

In terms of the essence of the standard, it should be divided into two types: technical standard and product standard. Technical standard is a relatively open standard, but product standard is very difficult to do. It is necessary to consider the experimental standard, precision standard, Test equipment standards and many other aspects. Therefore, the formulation of the standard is not done in a day. It must be established on the basis of the expansion of the industry and the strong economic strength. When the conditions are ripe, it will be the date of the introduction of the standard.

 



Looking at the current situation of China's hard molds, it can be described as mixed. The joy is that the production of hard molds has a certain foundation, and the general trend of the development of alloy gears will bring more market space to the hard alloy molds; the worry is that the level of domestic production of hard molds is still far from the world's advanced level. Moreover, under the great development trend of the gear industry, especially the alloy gear industry, the domestic response to market changes is not sensitive enough, and it is difficult for supporting research to keep up with market demand.
