At present, few studies have been carried out on the preparation of the same coating by these three spraying techniques, thus restricting the choice of coating preparation technology. There are many methods of thermal spraying, and different spraying processes also have their own characteristics in preparing coatings. Generally speaking, atmospheric plasma spraying (APS) technology has good versatility and high heat source temperature; hypersonic flame spraying (HVOF) has low cost, high speed and low temperature characteristics; low pressure plasma spraying (LPPS) is based on atmospheric plasma spraying. Developed, the coating is obtained by depositing molten droplets at a lower furnace pressure. This spraying technology can reduce the oxide content in the coating more.

The supersonic coating is a non-layered structure, which is composed of a stack of powder particles. The degree of flattening of the particles in the structure also shows the mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of the three coatings. The atmospheric plasma coating is a loose layered structure containing black oxide layers, pores and micro-cracks. These defects inside the coating greatly reduce the hardness and elastic modulus of the coating, but can inhibit the expansion of cracks to a certain extent. Improve the fracture toughness of the coating.
