       Q: What physical properties do solid particles include?

Answer: The physical characteristics of solid particles include particle size, melting characteristics, density, sphericity, specific heat capacity, thermal conductivity, hardness, combustible content, viscosity, flow characteristics, etc.

Q: What are the types of fluidized particles in general?

Answer: 1) Class C particles. The particle size of such particles is extremely fine, generally less than 20 μm, and the interaction between particles is very large, so they are particles that are difficult to fluidize. Due to the strong mutual adhesion of such particles, when the air flow passes through the material layer composed of such particles, channeling often occurs;

2) Class A particles. The particle size of this kind of particles is very small, generally 20~90μm, the particles are usually easy to fluidize, and the material layer can expand uniformly in a wide range of gas velocity between the initial fluidization and the beginning of the formation of bubbles;

3) Class B particles. This kind of particles has a medium particle size, the typical particle size range is 90~650μm, and has good fluidization performance. The quartz sand commonly used in fluidized beds is a typical B-type particle;

4) Class D particles. Such particles usually have larger particle size and density, and the particle mixing performance is poor in the fluidized state. Most of the bed materials and fuel particles in the coal-fired fluidized bed belong to D-type particles.
