Porosity can be divided into surface pores, closed pores and through pores according to the way they exist. When the coating is used for anti-corrosion, if there are open or closed pores in the coating, the rust material cannot immediately reach the surface of the substrate, so it cannot immediately cause rust to the substrate; If there are through holes, the rust material will immediately reach the surface layer of the protected substrate according to the porosity, causing chemical or electrochemical corrosion between the coating and the substrate. Coating is invalid.
