Domestic ultrahard material develops to high-level

       

Ultrahard
materials will develop to high level in the future, press upsizing, production
scale, technical formula scientization,
product diversification, they are our development directions, developing diamond
composition strongly, all of you must know that the product is the driving
force of diamond development, and the diamond is the basis of product
development.

In 1970s, abrasive tools development took diamond wheel as representation,
promoting the first climax of diamond production; in 1980s, drilling
tool development took diamond drill as representation, bringing the second
climax of diamond production; in 1990s, with the renaissance of stone industry, diamond saw blade developed, promoting
the third climax of diamond production; in 2000s, the fourth climax hasn’t
appear, according to analysis, the development of diamond cutting tool may push
the whole industry deep develops. 

 

Generally speaking, the product is with few
varieties, low technological content and not beautiful package.

1)       Few varieties, there are many
varieties of external products (Russia has 1500 kinds), but we just have
several hundreds.

2)       Low technological content, such
as foreign countries can manufacture clad sheet with 120mm diameter, we just can manufacture
it with 40mm diameter; and drill, common mines use a lot of drills, most of
them are tungsten carbide drills, and there are some enterprises
manufacture diamond drills, but seldom enterprises produce polycrystalline, compact
bit and thin wall diamond engineering drill, these products are with high technological
content, hard to produce and good management efficiency. At present, common
drill sells very well.

3)       Few machining tool for functional
material. Cutting tools for semiconductor (monocrystalline
silicon) rely on importing, 600~700 pieces of clad
sheet, costing tens of millions each year. These monocrystalline silicon production lines are mostly in china, such as Beijing,
Shanghai and Guangzhou.

 

21 century is the great development period for our
ultrahard materials, we should grasp the chance, developing rapidly, especially
in product aspect, intensifying science and technology input and development,
developing much more product and better products, making contribution to our
ultrahard material’s industry.
