What is the utilization rate of waste tungsten in China's tungsten industry? Generally, experts and analysts in the tungsten industry believe that the utilization rate in China is very low, and there is a big gap compared with the utilization rate of waste tungsten in foreign countries. It is widely used that China's regenerated tungsten industry started late, and the recycling of waste tungsten is relatively low, only 10% of the tungsten supply, while the utilization rate of waste tungsten in advanced countries is generally above 30%. China's tungsten secondary resources recovery surface is relatively narrow, mainly in the hard alloy and chemical catalyst, recycling mainly in the alloy and sodium tungstate field. China's waste tungsten is mainly used in the following steps: first, raw materials such as waste residue of tungsten smelting, waste catalyst and grinding material of tungsten products are processed into coarse sodium tungstate to produce secondary ammonium tungstate (APT) and refined sodium tungstate. Second, tungsten products processing grinding materials, waste tungsten alloy, used for the production of tungsten iron; Third, waste cemented carbide is recycled into electrolytic tungsten carbide or remelt into APT, among which electrolytic tungsten carbide is used to produce low-end cemented carbide products. Fourth, waste tungsten alloy products directly feed, production of special tungsten steel.

Step 1

The production of crude sodium tungstate has formed a relatively concentrated market in China, mainly concentrated in jiangyan of jiangsu province, anhua of hunan province, ganzhou of jiangxi province, longyan of fujian province, and some production enterprises are scattered in jiangsu province, hunan province, jiangxi province, zhejiang province and hebei province. Some enterprises in the above areas can directly produce refined sodium tungstate, which is mainly used in chemical industries such as dyes, pigments and catalysts. The rest is used for APT production.

Step 2

Tungsten and iron are produced by off-furnace (aluminotherm), off-furnace (aluminotherm), off-furnace (off-furnace) and off-furnace (off-furnace) agglomerations, which use waste tungsten as raw materials. Tungsten carbide and other waste tungsten can be used as raw materials in aluminotherm process. Tungsten and iron can be formed from tungsten and iron by using the heat energy of carbon and aluminum combustion. Nowadays, tungsten can be produced by lumping in electric furnaces or even by taking iron. In recent years, the amount of tungsten and iron produced by waste tungsten in China is shown in table 2 (1t of tungsten and iron consumes 1.45t of tungsten concentrate).

Step 3

The use of alloy scrap is one of the biggest role in waste tungsten use, in the early 1970 s in our country there is a lot of businesses use waste tungsten carbide products, such as xuzhou carbide factory, taiyuan, guiyang when carbide carbide factory factory, baoding powder metallurgy factory, xiangfan carbide factory, etc., China's largest cemented carbide enterprise zhuzhou cemented carbide group co., LTD., is also very early use of waste tungsten carbide products, the subsidiary of the Yangtze river carbide tool co., LTD., the predecessor of - zhuzhou cemented carbide tool factory in the late 1970 s had begun to make use of the waste tungsten carbide products.
