An alloy material made from hard compounds of refractory metals and bonding metals through powder metallurgy technology. Cemented carbide has a series of excellent properties such as high hardness, wear resistance, strength and toughness, heat resistance, and corrosion resistance. , Especially its high hardness and wear resistance, even at a temperature of 500 ℃, it remains basically unchanged, and still has a high hardness at 1000 ℃. Cemented carbide is widely used as tool materials, such as turning tools, milling cutters, planers, drills, boring cutters, etc., for cutting cast iron, non-ferrous metals, plastics, chemical fibers, graphite, glass, stone and ordinary steel, and can also be used for cutting Wet grinding of heat-resistant steel, stainless steel, high manganese steel, tool steel and other difficult-to-process materials (ball mill, drying cabinet, Z-mixer, granulator)---compression (with lateral pressure hydraulic press or extruder)-- -Sintering (debinding furnace, integrated furnace or HIP low pressure furnace)

The raw materials are wet-milled, dried, mixed with glue after the proportioning, and then dried and relieved by compression or extrusion, and finally the final alloy blank is formed by degreasing and sintering

The disadvantage of extrusion production of round bars is: long production cycle. Extruding small diameter round bar material below 3mm, pinch off both ends will waste a certain amount of material. The longer the length of the small diameter round bar of cemented carbide, the worse the straightness of the blank. Of course, the problems of straightness and roundness can be improved with cylindrical grinding later.

The other is compression molding, which is a method of producing short bars. As the name suggests, it is a mold that presses cemented carbide powder into a shape. The advantage of this cemented carbide bar forming method: it can be formed at one time, reducing waste. Simplify the wire cutting process and eliminate the dry material cycle of the extrusion method. The above shortened time can save customers 7-10 days.

Strictly speaking, isostatic pressing also belongs to compression molding. Isostatic pressing is the most ideal forming method for the production of large and long cemented carbide round bars. Through the upper and lower piston seals, the pressure pump injects the liquid medium between the high-pressure cylinder and the pressurized rubber, and the pressurized rubber transmits the pressure to make the cemented carbide powder compressed and formed.
