       Self-fluxing alloy powder

Self-fluxing alloy powder refers to an alloy material that has the functions of self-deoxidation and slagging, and can infiltrate the surface of the workpiece and be deposited during the remelting process without additional additives. Such materials generally include iron-based, nickel-based and cobalt-based alloys, and the materials contain a certain amount of boron and silicon elements.

Metal, alloy and composite powder

There are many types of alloy powder, here, classified by material, can be divided into the following types:

Nickel-based alloy powder: Nickel-based alloy is an alloy powder with the largest variety of alloys. Wider applications include:

Ni-Cr alloy is widely used as an anti-oxidation coating at high temperature;

Ni-Cr-Fe alloy can be turned and used for spray repair;

Ni-Cu alloy has excellent seawater corrosion resistance;

Ni-Cr-W alloy can be used for friction and wear resistance under oil-free conditions, and high temperature adhesive wear resistance.

Ni-Cr-Al-Y alloy can prepare dense, high bonding force, chemically stable coating, high temperature and oxidation resistance, and has developed into multiple series of MCrAlY materials.

Cobalt-based alloy powder:

Co-Cr-Mo-Ni-Fe alloy has good high temperature strength, good thermal stability and resistance to various forms of wear;

Co—Cr—W—C alloy, high hardness, good red hardness, and erosion resistance;

The performance of Co-Cr-Al-Y is similar to Ni-Cr-Al-Y alloy, but the service temperature is higher.

Copper-based alloy powder: used as a soft support surface coating; tin bronze powder, used as an anti-friction coating. Phosphor bronze powder, used as anti-friction and wear-resistant coating.

Iron-based alloy powder: Cr13 series stainless steel powder; austenitic stainless steel powder containing molybdenum; and high-chromium iron alloy powder and high-carbon iron alloy powder used as high hardness components.

Other alloy powders: various proportions of aluminum-silicon alloy powder, tin-based babbitt alloy powder, etc.

Metal composite powder refers to the powder material made by the non-alloying method of two or more different metal materials (such as mechanical bonding or chemical bonding). Mainly nickel-aluminum composite powder and nickel-chromium-aluminum composite powder. The aluminum content in the nickel-aluminum composite powder is 5%, 10% and 20%. It is generally believed that the nickel and aluminum will undergo thermite reaction during spraying, and release a large amount of heat to supplement the heating of the material to obtain an excellent The bonding performance of nickel-chromium-aluminum composite powder is a composite powder of nickel-chromium alloy and aluminum. During spraying, its heat release is more intense than that of nickel-aluminum powder, with better bonding performance and more resistant to high temperature oxidation.
